Flytographer: Memories That Last

Happy Friday, all! How was your week? It's been a little busy over here - When November rolls in out of nowhere there is always the realization that the Christmas Card Project really needs be addressed. NOW! So that's been my on my list...

But this year, it's been much more fun than the usual editing of selfies, thanks to Flytographer - the local photographer that can meet you in 100 cities worldwide and capture your vacation memories.

Elizabeth of Pretty Pink Tulips tipped me off to Flytographer when she used them on a family tip to Italy last summer. Her photos are ADORABLE and had me instantly sold on the idea of booking one of their photographers for our trip to Scotland.

The pictures are great, but what really impressed me was the service. Jen, the photo concierge that helped me book our shoot, immediately felt like a new friend - even though all our coordination took place seamlessly over email. I knew we were in good hands because I could tell that she really did care.

And when our scheduled photographer came down with the stomach flu the morning of our shoot, Jen immediately lined up the talented Fiona and arranged for her to meet us before we left Edinburgh the next morning. Fiona was lovely to hang out with for our fast, candid shoot and took wonderful photos - the best part was the feeling that we were on a walk with a friend, not having our pictures taken.

Flytographer is available in cities the world over (Seattle included). So whether you want to remember the epic trip to Africa, or a weekend in your own home town, Flytographer gets the picture.

What's your favorite travel shot in your photo albums?

Happy Weekend, all! XOXO

  1. JEANNE!

WOWSERS...every one of these photos is definitely of professional quality and captures that gorgeous gray, beige and mist of Scotland. YOU are just a beauty, with your beau next to you! I was scheduled to go to France in May with some of our high school students but the trip is being cancelled due to only having FIVE students...not enough to warrant the trip. I would have loved to go for my second time there, to capture these muted colors. What a great idea this service is. You can be captured anywhere you like! My favorite photos of me and my husband are of course in France: The Perigord Noir. What a stunning place.

    ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND! Anita

    1. Anita, you are so sweet! Thanks for the lovely compliments to start my morning. I am so sorry to hear that your trip is off, how disappointing! I've never been to Perigord, would love to visit some day. Hope you enjoy your weekend, too! XOXO

  2. YAY!!!!! Jeanne, I am so happy that you had a great experience with Flytographer (Jen is amazing at organizing everything!) and your photos are STUNNING!!! You are such an incredible photographer yourself and I always love your photos, but sometimes the photographer needs to be in the pictures. Seeing you in Scotland really brings it all to life.

I hope I'm on your Christmas card list! :) You'll be getting one of ours, which our course has a photo taken in Florence by Flytographer!

    Have a wonderful weekend!!!
    xoxo Elizabeth

    1. Thank you so much, Patricia. :-) It was much easier than trying to get a good selfie, which is what we usually do. Hope you have a happy weekend, too! XOXO

  5. Beautiful photos! I went right over to their website because I am traveling to Florence in the spring with family & friends. I hope they want to do this while we're there in Florence, so much better than asking someone on the street to take a photo of our group. I also went over to pretty pink tulips blog to check out her post about Flytographer and will now be following her blog! :D Thanks so much for the info!

    1. You are so sweet and funny! It was actually the perfect temperature for a coat but no stockings - Truth be told I detest wearing them and only give in to black tights when the weather turns really awful ;-) Thank you so much for all your kind words! Have a beautiful weekend! XOXO
