It's no secret that there is a bit of a blue and white obsession going on over here. And while it wouldn't seem possible, in the summer months that indigo mood just deepens. From the sky over head to the blueberries on my breakfast yogurt to the hydrangeas in the garden, I just can't get enough. Especially in August, the summertime blues are everywhere.
Here are a few lovely things that have me singing the blues right now:
1/ FRESH BLUEBERRIES - a key summer ingredient for many a dish but best just plain, 2/PERFECT ESPADRILLES make you feel as if you are in the South of France even if you're just south of your own hood, 3 and 4/NEW TORY BURCH TABLETOP - perfect for alfresco dining, 5/HAPPY HYDRANGEAS "Gentian Dome" just plated in our garden, 6/The blue and white BEACH UMBRELLAS at Westward make dinner on Lake Union feel like dinner on the Med, 8/The Tory Burch VIRGINIA TOP has a sleeker fit than the classic St. James stripes and it's on sale, 9/An irresistible blue and white striped RAFFIA CLUTCH from J. Crew Factory - and at that price there is no need to resist, 10/New blue and white GARDEN STOOL happily hanging out in our garden, 11/Sailing for Greece? A blue and white PANAMA HAT is perfectly matched with 12/ANCIENT GREEK sandals (and would look just as chic in your backyard).
What's your favorite color for the height of summer?
