Rosé To The Rescue

Happy Friday, all! How was your week? Hope it was good, although I know that even on the sunniest of summer days, the seemingly endless to-do lists, the stress, the unexpected curve balls can fog up our rose colored glasses a bit.

A friend of mine was feeling a little worn out this week, and I wanted to send her into the weekend with a little something that would put the pink back in her cheeks.

Splashing a few hand painted roses across a simple white paper gift bag proved the perfect place to start. Add a gift tag and some pink ribbon...

And here's the crucial step: Grab a bottle of rosé...

Perhaps a few of her favorite rosy things...

Put them all together, and voilà, it's a Rosé Rescue Kit, guaranteed bring a little la vie en rose to the most hectic of days.

I had a fantastic time painting the blooms on the bag, but all kinds of containers would do the trick - one of these adorable Yes Way Rosé totes would be just perfect...so perfect, in fact that you might decide you need your own Rosé Rescue Kit.

Happy weekend, all! Hope it's rosy - rosé or no rosé! XOXO

  5. You know how to cheer a person up, Jeanne! We bet your friend was tickled pink and we know we'll be stopping by to pick up a bottle of rose on the way home tonight (that is one of us will since the other is sipping hers in the south of France!) Hope you have a rosy weekend.

  6. Jeanne,
I love how rosy you make things for everyone around you and how thoughtful to share your gifts with each of us. I think nail polish and a bottle of wine does cheer a gal up. I have a friend who loves dark plum shades and I did a similar thing for her with all things plum for a "plum life" - and she was delighted. A plum polish, fresh plums and a bottle of lovely plum liqueur.
    Happy Summer to you~
