Goodbye, April

Can you believe we've reached the end of April already? One of the loveliest months of the year, when the world wakes up to spring's magic and wonder. And while the lilacs, roses and peonies that follow are just as beautiful, it's bittersweet to see the tulips, magnolias and cherry blossoms fade. (Those of you in cooler parts, how lovely that you are still enjoying these beautiful blooms!) So let's take one last walk through April...

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Hope you get to take a moment today to sit back and just enjoy the beautiful world around you.

XOXO

  2. Jeanne,
So like you, I want to hang on fast to the fading blossoms of April. It's so magical to know that generations gone before try to cling to the seasons with images and quotes. So inspiring are the Seasons.
May shall bring more blossoms to inspire.

    1. Hi Patricia, Yes! My mother and I were talking about how wonderful it is that the flowers don't all bloom at once. How lovely that this wonderful performance that starts with snow drops and crocus continues on for months. Hope you enjoy the May flowers that are coming! XOXO

  3. If ever there was a time that is easy (for those of us that need a reminder) to stop and smell the roses, April is the month. I'll miss her. :-)
    Such beautiful blossoms, thank you.

I do plan an evening trail walk and hopefully it will still be nice out. Your photos are so pretty. I will miss gardening this summer as we get all the construction done. I do have a couple of lilacs in pots that I am anxiously awaiting to bloom!! Have fun today xxL
