You Give Me Fever

Happy Friday, all!

True confessions, I had planned something else entirely for our chat today, but then a bad case of Spring Fever hit hard. With the sun out, the temperatures climbing to 60 and rain creeping back into the forecast starting today, the only cure was to pull on the white jeans and get outside to enjoy while it lasted.

Suddenly it was if the world had been painted daffodil yellow.

Even if snow or rain keeps us all indoors this entire last weekend of winter - sipping something hot instead of drinking rosé on the terrace - that little bit of sunshine was hint enough of the glorious days to come.

Happy almost spring, everyone! Are you ready for the end of winter? XOXO

  1. I can completely relate. Been giddy all week due to those temps creeping upward and the need for my sunglasses.... relishing every moment.

    1. Those are some oldies but goodies, Heather. They've lived happily in my closet for a few years now - the heels are so high that I don't wear them very often, which also means they are as good as new!

Happy weekend to you! Hope you have some house hunting luck! XOXO

  4. We had what I call a "tease" of Spring time temps. 65 degrees on Tuesday but today is a brisk 18 this am. I am going to pick up something sunny and yellow today to grace my dinner table. I cannot wait until we can officially usher in Springtime! Gimme fever!

    1. Sometimes that spring tease is just cruel, but even though we woke up to cold and rain this AM, I still have a spring in my step. Hope you find something wonderfully yellow today to warm up your dinner table. Here's to sunny days ahead! Happy weekend! XOXO

  6. I'm getting a glimpse of Spring in Dallas, but I see snow in the forecast for my return trip to NY. Argh!!! I was in white jeans yesterday, too! :) And, it felt so right. Here's to sipping rose and the sun on our face. Even if it's for a day!

    Happy weekend, Jeanne!!!!

  8. It WAS glorious, wasn't it, what a difference a day makes, I've filled the house with daffodils and cherry blossoms to hold onto those spring fever days.

  9. We're so ready for warmer weather and spring blossoms. We had a 60 degree day then a 20 degree day so we're hoping Mother Nature makes up her mind soon and kick Old Man Winter in the behind! Not quite at white jeans but we did trade our winter boots for ballet flats today. Have a great weekend, Jeanne!

  10. Although I have not seen a daffodil, I did see a robin yestreday, and it has made all the difference in my outlook today. Thank you for sharing your bit of sunshine.
