Easy Being Green

The gray skies have been with us for days, but the world is still turning green. Seeing the leaves pop all over makes me happy, even on the soggiest days. Perhaps that explains my slight obsession with the chairs in the Tulieries. They are the perfect green, hinting at spring even in the dead of winter. Wouldn't it be lovely to spend a few hours in one this weekend?

To gather a few friends for a chat?

Especially if it was a Paris perfect spring day....

Happy weekend, everyone! What do you have planned? Wish we could all get together for a picnic in the Tulieries.... or just kick back in one of those lovely green chairs for a bit.

Wherever you hang out, I hope it's lovely! XOXO

  1. Jeanne,
Love how you think and collect by color! What fun images of "green."
I am so looking forward to all the green that is about the grow and inspire me to garden~
Happy Friday dear. Love to ask if you could share your "to do" list for your luncheon. I liked the way you "paced" yourself with those last posts and the party prep. I think it takes the fear away of trying to do it all in a day.

    1. Hi Patricia - The color green always makes me think of you and your pretty green cardinals. I'd be happy to share my to do list - I'll think about a way to put it into a future post. I agree, not leaving it all to the last day makes a huge difference and the party much more fun. It's funny, I "grew up" working at Starbucks and one of my jobs was to produce the Shareholders meeting - I think that was what ingrained in my the importance of having a plan for just about everything. I'm grateful for that lesson.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend, too! XOXO

  4. Oh I am very behind on your posts...I have had my head in the clouds and it is filled with pollen! Making me very spacey...perhaps it is a good thing that I have absolutely nothing planned for this weekend? ;)
I am also game for the meetup in Paris!
    Bon Weekend ma Belle,

    1. Head in the clouds sounds kind of wonderful - except for that pollen part. A weekend with nothing planned sounds beautiful.

How can we make that blogger meetup in Paris happen?

Bon weekend to you, dear! XOXO

  6. Our temps are getting warmer though showers are on their way... Without April showers there are no May flowers and we're happy it's not snow! That green is the perfect shade for the season and we'd join you any day in Paris.

  7. I love those green chairs!!!! Takes me right back there. Rainy here - kind of a Seattle day. And, we're not green yet, but it WILL come and I will be ready to embrace it!!!

    Happy weekend, Jeanne!

  8. We often used to visit Paris in the spring sometimes at Easter and it is one of the best times of the year to appreciate the city (although I'm happy yo visit any time!) As soon as I spotted the green chairs I was immediately transported back there!
