Snow What Fun!

Happy 2014, friends! Is your year off to a sparkling start so far?

Ours began hidden away in a cozy inn, where the biggest decisions of the day were if we should snow shoe or cross country ski, and what bottle of wine should we uncork for dinner by the fire.

We glided across the valley floor or crunched up into the hills, obliterating so many calories that we could eat carbs, sugar and fat without a second thought.

And while my guess is that you East Coasters might be over the cold and snow, there is something about starting the year off under a blanket of beautiful white. A fresh start. Ready to make new tracks.

So tell me, what have your first days of 2014 been like? Hope things unfold beautifully for us all! XO

  1. Happy New Year, Jeanne!!!! Love seeing where you rang in the new year. Veuve in the snow….just love it!

Our post Christmas visit to my father-in-law's home in Mexico was filled with travel errors and rain, so oddly enough, I am SO happy to be back home, even if the weather has been monstrous. It just shows me how much of a home body I am and that I love being in my own routine. So excited for 2014…who knows where it might lead!

  4. Looks like a wonderful way to start the year, Jeanne! We went in the opposite direction and while we did have a couple of days of rain, it was still warm. We're off to a busy start with the Atlanta Gift Show starting tomorrow and will be back in a week. We hope your 2014 is off to a wonderful start!
