Chasing Snow

Happy last Monday of 2013! Did you enjoy your holiday? Ours was lovely, lots of time with friends and family. But, typical of the Pacific Northwest, very grey, green and a little damp. The only white Christmas was in our dreams. So we'll be spending the remaining days of the year chasing snow!

Did you know that 2013 marked the 400th Anniversary of the birth of André Le Nôtre, designer of the gardens of Versailles? To celebrate, why don't we end the year with a walk through the snow-dusted  loveliness of the palace...

Happy New Year, everyone! I'll be off for a few days, making snow angels.

Wishing you a beautiful farewell to 2013 and a joyous start to 2014. Here's to great things ahead! XO
