Hi all! Happy Friday. Hope you've been well. We've just returned from some R&R in the Adirondacks. Not the mountains, but the chairs -- although we did spend a nice bit of our time on the Vermont side of Lake Champlain soaking up the sun and enjoying views of the Adirondacks.
Hope you have a lovely pre-Fourth-of-July weekend. Anything bright and colorful planned?
Glad you're back and sounds like you have some great R&R. We'll be enjoying a whole lot of nothing after having house guests for the last three weekends...until my parents show up Sunday afternoon! It's been crazy, but good. And the Tennis Club sounds pretty fab - maybe we could meet there for lunch or dinner sometime! :)
Welcome back Jeanne and from the sounds of it you're going to have a busy week ahead. I hope you enjoyed your anniversary! Aren't those Adirondack chairs comfortable? We just bought a couple for the front yard and I could sit in them all day!
So pretty up there!! One of my children spent a summer at a camp on Lake Champlain - we stayed on the Vermont side when we went up to visit - just lovely!!
After a 20-year career in PR and marketing, I've traded PowerPoints for paintbrushes, sky-high heels for ballet flats (OK, I still clomp around the studio in Manolos sometimes). Because to be truly alive, you need dreams that you're still chasing, not just dreams that have already come true. And since I was old enough to hold a crayon, I've dreamed of an art-filled life. So in this blog, I explore my dream of growing up to be a professional artist, plus the other aspirations, daydreams and musing that keep life interesting--and your wildest dreams, too.
Oh hooray! Welcome home Jeanne. If that photo is anything to go by, your trip looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteI am going to be busy this weekend preparing for my Sister's arrival on Monday morning--hooray! I have never been so happy to clean in my life. ;)
Bon weekend!
Glad to have you back with us, Jeanne. Happy that you could get away.
ReplyDeleteWe are cooking out and watching the fireworks.
Happy Friday.

Isn't that area beautiful?! Hope you had lots of R&R!
ReplyDeleteLove that you were on "my" coast.:)
We're driving up to Ashville, NC to pick up my oldest from sleep away camp. Friends are hosting a wig party Saturday night, so that should be fun.
Happy weekend!
xoxo, Elizabeth
Either one sounds pretty good to me!
