Welcome Spring!

"There are always flowers for those who want to see them." - Henri Matisse

Happy spring, everyone! Yes, Paris in the springtime is on my horizon. And yes, I'd love it if you could all come along! Just a quick trip, so we'll be spending our entire visit in the city. And we have what seems like days and days and days to cross of the calendar before we go. I'm sure it will fly by, but oh how I wish I was celebrating the first day of spring wandering Paris streets and picking out the perfect blooms to bring home. No one does flowers like the French, non?

Instead, I'll bloom where I'm planted and pick up a bouquet of tulips or hyacinths at Pike Place Market. Maybe stop at the bakery for a macaron or my favorite cafe for a cafe creme -- because Paris is always there for those who want to see it (to paraphrase Mr. Matisse).

So tell me, how will you be mark the first day of Spring?

  1. Booo! I was so hoping to get you down to Provence! Next time! :)

But for this little hop over, have you thought of renting an apartment instead of being in a hotel? You might already have a fav hotel but I am so sold on the apartments as you really live the life! Email me (robinsonheather@yahoo.com) if you want more info...

  6. So glad to hear that your trip will come together! I love that quote by Matisse. We are marking spring by moving into our new house - a little late but our big spring celebration nonetheless. :) LOVE these images on this dreary, cold, windy day!

BTW I posted a little thank you to you on a post a week or so ago but I think you missed it...just wanted you to know how much I appreciate all that you have done!
