Just Arrived From France
So, last March, I wrote about the lack of bar stools in our kitchen and my inability to make a decision. But I did finally pull the trigger. I talked Mr. H. into the classic wovens from TK Collections, because I'm a little obsessed with French café chairs....
A year later, almost to the date, my new French friends finally arrived. They were on a pretty slow boat - something about a shortage of the material they're made of, back orders, etc. Pas de probleme, they were worth the wait.
They get along so well with our breakfast nook chairs - they must all converse in French when I'm not around. And when I sip my espresso in the morning, I can almost believe I'm not far from a Paris café.
So when it comes to decorating and furnishing your home, are you like me? Do you have a terrible time making decisions, and wait and wait for the perfect find to come along? Or are you able to make quick choices without regrets?

Love the chairs! You don't want to get me started...trust me! We are moving from London in three months, I have a container with space...can I decide what to fill it with? No! but... those chairs.... :)
ReplyDeleteI am so like you it's ridiculous - my hubby now expects everything to take at least a year to get done. Our front door still doesn't have hardware - just a lock! Love your French beauties.

I make up my mind really fast but then once made up I don't buy anything. It's because I make up my mind and then what I like seems to get cheaper in price so I wait and then end up not buying because they get mass produced, hate that. You're chairs look amazing in your kitchen.

I want to see more of that breakfast nook...it looks beautiful!!!! When I see something I love there is no stopping me but when I am unsure, it can take a long time because I need to feel something 100% to pull the trigger. Love your choice...so worth the wait! I have found though as I get older I am quicker to make choices which also likely coincides with knowing exactly what I like and what I don't like at this stage of the game!
