I visited the Chanel Boutique rue Cambon last year. Today, Mademoiselle's private apartment (where she entertained and relaxed but never lived, since she had a suite at the nearby Ritz hotel,) can only be seen by journalists and other happy fews; I am always grateful when I get to take a peek, like today on your blog. I would love to visit her private apartment. It comes up for auction at my sons' school every other year and I might need to twist my husband's arm. I've heard the tour is amazing.
After a 20-year career in PR and marketing, I've traded PowerPoints for paintbrushes, sky-high heels for ballet flats (OK, I still clomp around the studio in Manolos sometimes). Because to be truly alive, you need dreams that you're still chasing, not just dreams that have already come true. And since I was old enough to hold a crayon, I've dreamed of an art-filled life. So in this blog, I explore my dream of growing up to be a professional artist, plus the other aspirations, daydreams and musing that keep life interesting--and your wildest dreams, too.
I love everything Chanel! Such a talented woman.
