So, one of the illustrations I'm currently working on is for invitations and collateral for an auction supporting a local school.

When I was three, I threw a temper tantrum at the mall because I wanted a pair of glittery ruby red slippers. Maybe it's time I finally get a pair!

The first image took me back and then what a fun post that follows! First, my husband is from Kansas and therefore we have heard every reference known to man that has to do with The Wizard of Oz! Fun!!

Now, red shoes go back to my childhood when my grandmother gave me a pair of red patent zip up boots. I loved them then....but wow they would be cool now. I have a favorite pair of red shoes that will be coming out this fall. Though I have a huge shoe crush on that last pair!
