I think that somehow it doesn't feel like a chore when you're caring for beautiful things...which could be why I'm obsessed with Libeco linens--they're kind of like shoes for me. I certainly don't need more, but I'm always seeing new ones that just have to follow me home.

I actually love the preparations for a special occasion - ironing isn't my favorite but I like doing the silver etc. And of course setting the table is the most fun!! Hope you have a lovely time - take pictures to show!!

Absolutely....the end result often guides me through a task. Just like polishing the silver last week. It felt so good to just dig in and do it. And, I love the finished product.

True. I am somewhat of a snob when it comes to chores and good equipment does help elevate any ordinary task to an art. I take great pride in having nice linens to wipe away the spills or to catch them!
