I'm back, finished with my killer work project, and think I might have a creative bone left in my body that's still in working order. Hopefully.
Anyway, what are your plans for the day? I hope you get to spend it with the ones you love most.
Mr. Hartmann and I have a few favorite Valentine's traditions... Last night we celebrated with friends at a Valentine's dinner that has become a bit of an annual event. The hostess always puts together a fun and fantastic evening--this year's theme was Alice and Wonderland and The Queen of Hearts. Tonight we'll stay in, order take-out and watch When Harry Met Sally...which is the way we mark the day together every year. It's nice to be alone and not flight the crowds.
All of these amazingly gorgeous photos are from IS Photography
Another little tradition is a handmade card for Mr. H... something I've done for every Valentine's Day that we've been together. This year, I had a tough time coming up with an idea. Until I found this sweet little chair on 1st Dibs. I fell head over heels, and thought there was something Valentines-y about it... except it looked lonely. And so...
...instead I decided to imagine the perfect pair.
Happy Valentine's Day, Mr. Hartmann. (And no, I did NOT order any of these chairs from the Dibs, and there is nothing on the way from Red Ticking...that is your gift this year.)
And a happy one to all of you... I hope you find love wherever you look today! XO
